About Larissa
I have a degree in English and Portuguese Language/Literature from Universidade Estadual Paulista, in Brazil, and an exchange program in the USA, at Murray State University. I am currently in a Master's Degree in Portuguese as a Foreign Language at the University of Porto. Ive been teaching English for more than 5 years and Portuguese SL for 3, both in private, public and language schools, as well as for private students.

My approach to language teaching is preferably communicative, but always adjustable to the interests and goals of the students. I have worked with different methodologies, as well as formulated my own lesson plans, especially in private lessons. I like to keep my lesson plans up to date so the students know what's going on in the world and so they don't get bored. I have TOEFL certification and IELTS training by the British Council in Brazil. My specialty is pronunciation (standard American) and I hope to help my students appreciate the English and Portuguese language as much as I do! =)
