About Amanda
I am passionate when it comes to academics. I absolutely love math and do my best to make math fun. I believe that everyone learns in their own way and I try to do my best to match a lesson to what best fits the student and their learning style. I believe in all my students and I strive every day to show them that they are capable of achieving their academic goals, no matter the level of difficulty. I have worked with children most of my life. Professionally, I've worked with students from k-8th grade for a total of 4 years. Educationally, I've been studying for ten years. I have an associates degree in child development. I am nearly done with my bachelor's degree in elementary education with only 6 classes left to complete. I strive everyday to better my knowledge so in turn I can share my knowledge with my students.

I have a strong passion for math and I want to help students overcome any math anxiety they may have. I want students to be able to become confident comfortable with math rather than fear it because it's challenging. I want my students to belive that they can achieve their academic goal with determination, hard work, and faith in themselves. These 3 factors alone can greatly improve a students progress on any subject.
