About Matthew
I have a genuine passion for maths and can help you through the toughest problems.
As a maths student at the University of Bath (going into my masters year) I am equipped to help with topics ranging from basic bidmas to Galois theory, I enjoy talking about maths and helping others understand what is going on.
My teaching style favours a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging the student to find the solutions to problems themselves. I have experience tutoring from my role at Bath, providing help to first year undergraduate students, and inform my teaching style from the training I received for that.
I have a track record of excelling in maths exams, with an 80+ university average (70 = threshold for a first), and can help you beat the tests and understand why we care about the topics we study.
Alongside A* maths and further maths, I have A* physics, so feel confident assisting with any below undergraduate level physics.
