About Graham
Over the past 8 years, I’ve tutored Spanish to high school and college students from all kinds of backgrounds, helping over 150 learners grow in both skill and confidence. My students often come to me stressed about their grades or nervous about speaking in class. My job is to change that relationship with the language. I create lessons that are personalized, engaging, and rooted in real-life communication. We don’t just conjugate verbs—we talk, laugh, and build vocabulary through conversations about your favorite subjects. We listen to Spanish songs, analyze movie scenes, and role-play scenarios you might encounter in daily life or while traveling. My teaching style is adaptive, so whether you’re preparing for a test, working on your Spanish essay, or trying to hold a casual conversation, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you forward. One student I worked with was a college athlete balancing a full schedule and a tough Spanish course. We built lessons around his routine and interests, and by the end of the semester, he was confidently holding conversations with his teammates from Latin America. Learning Spanish doesn’t have to be overwhelming. With a little creativity and consistent support, it can become one of your favorite parts of the week.
