About Fery
I am a native Chinese speaker.
I was born and raised in China for 28 years.
My hometown is in Changsha where it’s famous for its spicy food. Then I studied at university in Quan Zhou and Xia Meng for four years, and then worked in Shanghai for 4 years. The time I have lived in China, I had a great chance to travel to different regions in China.
7 years ago I migrated to New Zealand starting with a working holiday, now with the journey deepening to understand the culture here and my ancestors. I feel it’s time to share some deeper insights through language teaching.

I would love to share more cultural side of things in the lessons. Without understanding the cultural influences, the language loses its spirit.
