About Joshua
I am a PhD student at McGill University. I have scored 8.5 in IELTS when I immigrated to Canada in 2017. I have a deep passion for language, with a strong focus on writing. Over my decade-long academic career, I have honed my academic English to the level that I am confident of my ability to absorb and expound abstruse and complex ideas clearly. My works have been published on academic journals in various areas, from machine learning, to geology, to mathematics.

I am deeply involved in every step of your journey of learning. Taking writing as an example, I take part in from idea organization, to sentence ordering, to word choice. I make sure every step is clearly explained and demonstrated.
I am happy and capable of teaching academic English to people with all backgrounds and levels.
