About Meghna
I have been a mentor in these subjects for over 3 years, offering techniques to overcome exam anxiety and resources to make learning hard content easier. Due to my help, (and of course, their hard work!) one of my students went from a 4 to 6 grade in IB standard level mathematics, allowing them to get into their first choice university. I am currently studying maths to an even higher level at university, focusing more on econometrics, statistics and calculus!

At Warwick, we are stressed the importance of student engagement in learning. This is the principle under which I teach. My typical lesson consists of three parts:
1) Diagnostic: using a past paper or test to identify which 3-4 topic a student struggles with, and which parts of each topic the student is finding difficult to understand.
2) Teaching: using examples and diagrams along with textbook explanations to help students overcome their difficulties
3) Problem-solving: assigning more questions on the topics worked in during the lesson and working with the students to hopefully check the topic(s) off the student's list of problem areas by the end of each lesson!
