About Conor
A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music (MM) as well as a graduate from the Mannes School of Music at The New School (BM). Conor has also attended Eastern Music Festival and Bowdoin International Music Festival. Having studied with members of the New York Philharmonic in addition to The Metropolitan Opera.
Throughout his studies Conor has been on many stages and played with all types of ensembles, from Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully to Arlene's Grocery and Amityville Music Hall . Conor uses his varied performance background in his teaching to create a well rounded approach to the bass.

I am a firm believer in technique and foundation in addition to encouraging creativity. A typical lesson could include detailed technical work to address a specific skill, creating a game as a means to reach a goal or exploring a musical phrase together. Depending on where the student is on their journey and what their specific goals are a unique and personal lesson will be created.

Conor is a very reliable and professional musician and educator. We have participated in many ensembles together over the years and he is always prepared, punctual and easy to work with. As a teacher, he brings an individualized set of skills and insights collected from his own studies and performances into his work with his students. I highly recommend Conor for students of any age/level looking to deepen their knowledge of the bass.
Conor is a fantastic educator, musician, and colleague!
