About Isabelle
My teaching approach focuses on building a healthy, confident, and expressive singing voice through clear and practical methods. I start with breath control, helping singers use their breath smoothly and efficiently to support every phrase. Vocal stamina is another key part of my lessons, so you can sing longer without strain or fatigue. I also work on pitch matching to strengthen your ear and improve accuracy. Resonance shaping is explored step by step to create a warm, full tone that feels natural and comfortable.
I support singers who are growing as solo performers by guiding them through expression, tone clarity, and emotional storytelling. For those who sing in groups or ensembles, I help with blending, balance, and timing so they feel confident in any musical setting. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, whether you’re preparing for a performance, improving technique, or learning for personal enjoyment.
I combine technical exercises with real songs to make each session both useful and enjoyable. My style is patient, clear, and encouraging, helping you understand your voice and grow at your own pace. I also focus on consistency, building strong habits that lead to lasting improvement. Together, we strengthen your technique, boost your confidence, and bring out your best musical expression.

I’m a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus in voice. I’m passionate about vocal storytelling, especially through Jazz Standards, Broadway solos, and the rich Golden Age repertoire. I love guiding singers to shape phrases with swing, color their lines with jazz ornamentation, and bring every song to life with honest interpretation. Character interpretation is one of my favorite parts of teaching because it turns simple notes into meaningful moments.
I’m also skilled in reading lead sheets, which helps us explore creativity, musical freedom, and stylistic choices with confidence. I work closely with passionate adults, seasoned singers, and community theatre actors who want to refine their technique and deepen their expressive range. Whether you’re preparing for a show, an audition, or simply singing for joy, I tailor lessons to your personal goals.
In our sessions, we focus on tone, phrasing, and emotional connection while keeping technique clear and healthy. I make space for exploration, curiosity, and growth. Every student has a unique story to tell, and I love helping that story shine through their voice. With time and steady practice, you’ll feel yourself growing stronger and more expressive.
