I'm a professional, full-time musician and passionate teacher, helping people to discover their musical voice or what I like to call - "Voice of the Heart". Hi, I'm Julia! As a teacher, I'm passionate about technique and how it can create a pathway to expression and creativity. My lessons are bespoke to each student. What material inspires you? What songs move you? This is the music we will work on in your lessons. A little bit about my music education - I graduated from Humber College with a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Performance and I am RCM certified Grade 9 Piano and Grade 8 Voice. In addition to my 7 years of teaching experience, I have 10+ years of experience as a professional singer, both as a solo performer (accompanying myself) and in many different ensembles. My knowledge of music is extensive and I am able to bring a practical approach to the classroom. Having worked with both children and adults, I am experienced in teaching many different age groups and am passionate about helping others discover their musical voice. Whether you're a beginner or intermediate level student, I'd love to help you reach your musical goals!
