Studio Lesson Policies
Thank you for choosing Michelle Yerhyn Choi’s Music Studio. To ensure a smooth, professional, and productive learning environment for all students, please review the following studio policies:

1. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
* 24-Hour Notice Required: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled lesson time.
* Late Cancellations: If less than 24 hours' notice is given, or if a student misses a lesson without notice (No-Show), the full lesson fee will be charged, and no make-up lesson will be provided.
* Make-up Lessons: Students are permitted a maximum of [1 or 2] rescheduled/make-up lesson(s) per [month / semester], provided proper 24-hour notice was given. All make-up lessons must be scheduled within 30 days of the cancellation.
* Teacher Cancellations: If the instructor needs to cancel a lesson due to performance schedules or emergencies, a make-up lesson will be guaranteed, or the tuition credit will roll over to the next billing cycle.

2. Tardiness Policy
* Fixed Lesson Times: Lessons will begin and end strictly at their scheduled times. If a student arrives late, the lesson will not be extended past the scheduled end time out of respect for subsequent students.
* No-Show Threshold: If a student is more than [15 or 20] minutes late without any communication, the lesson will be considered a late cancellation (No-Show) and will be charged in full.

3. Payment & Refund Policy
* Advance Payment: Tuition must be paid in full before the first lesson of each month (or prior to the start of a lesson package).
* Refunds: All payments are non-refundable. If a student decides to discontinue lessons mid-month or mid-package, no refunds will be issued for unused sessions.

4. Student Responsibilities & Expectations
* Practice: Consistent practice is essential for musical growth. Students are expected to complete weekly assignments and practice regularly between lessons.
* Materials: Students must bring all required sheet music, notebooks, and materials to every lesson.

5. For Minor Students (Parents' Responsibility)
* Drop-off & Pick-up: Parents must drop off and pick up their children promptly at their scheduled lesson times. The studio cannot provide supervision before or after the designated lesson time.
