About Orval
Teaching provides a way to simplify complex anatomy for performers who struggle with tension. Many singers assume that power requires physical strain, but my 11 years of coaching reveal the opposite truth. I hold a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of Oklahoma and spent 13 years in the industry before transitioning to instruction.
Jeannette LoVetri trained me in the Somatic Voicework method to ensure that belting never leads to vocal shredding. My practice emphasizes vocal health, care, rhythm, phrasing, and performance confidence for every client. I bring the right techniques to help you develop a freer, more expressive voice.

Breath support and vibrato technique guide our early stages of focused training. Your first session begins with a rigorous assessment of your current vocal production and range limitations.
We move through specific modules covering head and chest voice, microphone technique, and essential exam preparation. Expect 6.0 difficulty ratings on your assigned homework vocal drills after every session.
Consistency drives the results that we pursue during our time together. We work until the sound flows without resistance. Progress continues even after the studio door closes.
