About Angela
I have obtained a certificate in Songwriting and Performance, as well as one in Music Production, from Seneca Polytechnic. In addition, I have been taking private music lessons (piano, guitar, violin, and vocals) for 15 years. I am also an active singer-songwriter (3 released singles, debut album coming very soon), composer (a member of the Screen Composers Guild of Canada), and former theater kid (soon to return to the craft). I specialize in musical theater, pop, rock, and folk music. Occasionally, I also help students with adjacent skills, such as songwriting, music production, audition prep, etc.

The entire body is interconnected, and your instrument requires efficient use of all parts to work to its best ability! I focus on efficient breathwork, understanding of the role of the stomach muscles, and building a personalized practice schedule that will improve you in a healthy and sustainable way.
Each lesson starts with a thorough warm-up, and then we pick a song each week to work on, learning new skills and techniques in an applied context.
I teach all levels, from children to adults, beginners to advanced. If you're singing for fun, or for your career, I'm happy to help!
