About Luke Ray Fred
I am a violinist and started playing the violin at the age of 7 years old. I have had many great experiences. Here is a list of some of my experiences - accepted to the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland juniors, seniors and Symphony Orchestra 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2020 - accepted to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland juniors 2016 - performed on many public appearances examples of playing to the Scottish Parliament, receptions like playing to a private engagement held by the former First Minister of Scotland marking the Ryder Cup event in Stirling. As for my educational background here is a list - SQA National 5 with an A pass in music - HNC classical music - HND classical music - BA (HONS) in music - ongoing study

My teaching methodology is a very structured and simple process. This is to help with less confusion and better efficiency when improving the student's ability to progress. All of my lessons will be taught online on Zoom so you can learn from the comfort of your own home! Easy! In each of my lessons we will go over three parts. Part 1 will be scales. Part 2 will be technical progressions. Part 3 will be pieces/repertoire. These three parts are essential in building the student's ability to create foundations to improve. This structure will happen in every lesson but what will be significantly different is when the student has practised we can therefore further progress to harder music. At the end of each lesson we will have a discussion on how the lesson turned out so there is a chance for the student or I to comment or to share thoughts or opinions. I always admire the student's contribution to ideas and opinions which is essential for a healthy lesson.

Perfect! Luke is very patient, encouraging, and always explains concepts thoroughly through different perspectives. The lessons are enjoyable and Luke explains a number of practise exercises at the end, which are usually very detailed and helpful to practise between lessons.
