About Angelica
Before now, I have taken lessons(including private tutoring) in both violin and piano. In highschool and middle school, I was a first chair violinist; this put me in position, as a leader, to ensure the other violinists had guidance on parts they didn’t understand or couldn’t follow completely.

I first begin asking the background of my tutoree in the particular subject. This is done to gauge what parts I do or don’t need to teach. If they do have previous knowledge in the subject I do a light review to see we are on the same page and to check if they retained the correct knowledge of it. I then determine from there the next step of what they can learn based on what they already know. I don’t want to take large advanced steps otherwise it would be too confusing for my tutoree.
