About Skye
I am a violin tutor with 10 years of experience and a Master of Music in String Performance. Music has always inspired me, and teaching allows me to help students transform dedication into beautiful performances.
I believe every learner deserves patient instruction and clear explanations. My teaching focuses on technical growth, musical understanding, and building confidence through steady progress rather than pressure.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy attending concerts, studying violin repertoire, and exploring chamber music. These experiences inspire creative lesson ideas and help students develop a deeper appreciation for music.

Learning the violin becomes rewarding when students understand both technique and musical expression together. My lessons begin with posture, bow movement, left-hand coordination, rhythm practice, and note reading through clear demonstrations and encouraging guidance. Every session builds confidence while creating a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
As learners advance, we strengthen intonation, shifting, vibrato, bow articulation, dynamic control, and expressive phrasing. I include listening exercises, ensemble awareness, and structured practice routines that improve consistency without making lessons stressful. Every student receives personalized guidance according to their learning pace.
My aim is to help students enjoy every stage of learning while developing confidence as musicians. Each lesson improves technical ability, performance skills, and artistic expression through supportive instruction and meaningful practice.
