About Hunter
I am a violin tutor with 6 years of experience and a Master of Music in Violin Studies. I enjoy helping students build confidence through supportive teaching, structured practice, and encouraging feedback that makes learning enjoyable.
My lessons are carefully adapted to each learner's needs so they develop strong technical ability alongside expressive musical skills. I believe steady progress comes from patience, consistency, and positive guidance.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing chamber music, exploring violin repertoire from different eras, and studying performance techniques. These experiences allow me to bring practical knowledge and fresh inspiration into every lesson.

My violin lessons encourage students to enjoy learning while building reliable technical skills from the very beginning. We focus on posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, tone production, intonation, listening skills, and smooth coordination through practical exercises that support steady progress and musical confidence.
As learners improve, we study scales, shifting, vibrato, expressive phrasing, sight reading, ensemble performance, concert preparation, and focused practice habits. I also include visualization, silent practice, and relaxation techniques that help students perform comfortably while improving musical expression.
My goal is to help every learner become a confident violinist who enjoys performing and continuous musical growth. Every lesson develops technique, creativity, discipline, and appreciation for the expressive beauty of the violin.
