About June
I have 8 years of experience teaching violin and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance and Music Education. My teaching philosophy combines technical rigor with artistic development, ensuring students build confidence while exploring their personal musical voice.
Over the years, I have guided learners at all levels, from beginners discovering their first notes to advanced students preparing for solo performances or auditions. Lessons focus on posture, technique, sight-reading, rhythm, and expressive playing, with a strong emphasis on building self-confidence and musical independence.
Teaching violin is incredibly rewarding because I witness students develop technical mastery alongside artistic creativity. I help them grow into confident, expressive performers while cultivating discipline, focus, and a lifelong love of music. My ultimate goal is to inspire students to connect deeply with their instrument, express themselves authentically, and achieve personal musical excellence.

Violin lessons with me are designed to strengthen both technical skill and artistic expression. I focus on proper posture, bowing, fingering, intonation, sight-reading, rhythm, dynamics, and musical phrasing. Lessons combine structured exercises, repertoire practice, improvisation, and performance preparation to ensure students develop a well-rounded approach to violin playing in a calm, supportive, and encouraging environment.
I customize lessons for each student’s skill level. Beginners work on fundamental techniques, simple melodies, and note recognition. Intermediate students develop their scales, bowing control, phrasing, and musical interpretation. Advanced learners focus on challenging repertoire, improvisation, ensemble playing, stage presence, and solo performance preparation. I integrate continuous feedback, guided practice, and clear goal-setting to ensure steady progress and increasing confidence in performance.
The ultimate aim of my violin lessons is to create technically proficient, musically expressive, and confident performers. Students develop not only skill but also artistic sensitivity and stage readiness. Lessons help cultivate discipline, focus, and creativity, while nurturing an enduring love for music. By the end of the learning journey, students are capable of performing with accuracy, expression, and personal style, equipped to excel in recitals, auditions, or personal musical pursuits.
