About Marianna
My passion for yoga is something I am eager to share and teach in all its aspects. I have been practicing yoga and incorporating its philosophy into my life since 2012. I began practising ashtanga yoga for a few years but due to an injury my focus was turned from the physical to the spiritual aspect of yoga. In my journey towards recovery, i discovered the power of yoga for healing when practiced with alignment,breath and awareness. Despite the numerous challenges, i am devoted to my yoga practice and continue to learn from my own path to recuperation.
In 2018, I graduated from Gayatri yoga school as a 200hr Yoga teacher and I am registered with Yoga alliance professionals UK. I also hold a degree in biology which has elevated my practice through deepening my understanding of the human body. In my teaching i incorporate elements of spirituality and science as the two can complement each other.
I continue my study through various branches of yoga styles and teachers to deepen my knowledge of the physical and energetic body.

The yoga classes I offer include creative sequences that are both challenging and spiritually uplifting. I share a flow that includes all aspects of a complete practice: asana, pranayama, meditation and shavasana. I encourage my students move in a way that is beneficial to each individual by offering variations and adjustments of poses.
On a physical level, i focus on correct alignment and creating a balance of strength and flexibility in the body. I strive to make traditional yoga teachings accessible but also to draw inspiration from the innovations in yoga and science. After many years of experience in holistic and health practises, I also offer nutritional and fitness advice.
