With 7 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s in Music Education, I specialize in guiding beginners and young learners. My teaching approach is gentle, organized, and encouraging. Students learn rhythm basics, proper form, and musical awareness. I break down concepts into simple, understandable steps. My lessons include fun exercises and songs to keep learning enjoyable. I work with each student’s pace and learning style. Confidence building is a major part of my teaching. I help students set small, achievable goals. My drum lessons are designed to provide a structured, fun, and encouraging environment for students of all ages and skill levels, especially beginners who are just starting their musical journey. Each lesson is customized to the student’s needs and goals, whether learning basic rhythms, improving coordination, or building confidence behind the kit.
Lessons cover timing, stick technique, hand independence, groove, dynamics, rhythm reading, and musical awareness, gradually increasing in complexity as students progress. I incorporate play-along tracks, exercises, song practice, and improvisation to make learning practical and enjoyable. Students receive guidance on practice routines, goal setting, and tracking progress to ensure steady improvement. My teaching environment is positive, patient, and supportive, giving learners the confidence to take risks and explore their musical creativity. Lessons emphasize listening skills, rhythm comprehension, and applying techniques in real-world situations, including ensemble play.
I celebrate achievements at every stage to maintain motivation and encourage continuous growth. Students gradually develop technical ability, musical expression, coordination, and independence. Each lesson is designed to be productive, engaging, and rewarding, building both skill and confidence. Drumming becomes a tool for self-expression, creativity, and emotional connection.
