About Carolyn
I am a very experienced teacher, I studied in South Africa and taught at a top London Prep School for 19 years. Being Head of Science, Head of Geography, Gifted and Talented Coordinator, Head of Year 3, 4 & 5 and a Year 6 form teacher. I am currently completing a diploma in SEN teaching. I am taking a break from full-time teaching and I now offer tutoring in the evening and on weekends, either from my home or via ZOOM. * Update: Please note all lessons till Oct half term are via ZOOM- this will then be reviewed. * Tutoring is offered in: * English, maths and science (Year 3-6) * Geography (Year 3-8, including Common Entrance) * Verbal and Non-verbal reasoning * 11+

My aim when tutoring children: I believe children need self-confidence and a strong foundation of knowledge in order to be able to access their lessons in school. Lessons will be tailored to the students' needs and we will move as quickly, or slowly, as needed in order to secure both their knowledge and confidence.
