About Ron
Hi! My name is Ron, and I have been tutoring middle and high school math for about five years. I graduated from my high school as the valedictorian, and am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Vanderbilt University.
What I enjoy the most about tutoring is the unique and exciting journey that each student has. No student is the same, and I understand that completely! That's why I'm committed to working with you to develop your skills, through the process that works for you, and I'm always excited to see the unique ways in which my students grow.

Each one of my math lessons are different, because they are catered to only one person -- you. I design my lessons to cater to your abilities, as we work together to build up your math skills from wherever you might be on your learning journey. My goal is to make everyone feel comfortable and excited about math, no matter where you are starting from! Math is for everyone.
In general, my lessons are highly interactive, and allow students to engage deeply with the material. I purposely create my lessons this way, because I believe that the best way to do something is by doing it yourself. After introducing a topic, I prefer to walk my students through practice problems rather than simply lecturing, because I find that students learn much faster and easier this way. Through this process, I am confident that your math skills will be growing in no time!

Ron was a total lifesaver in my Pre Calculus course. My teacher in school wasn't explaining the concepts well at all, and Ron was so patient in explaining the ideas that I didn't understand. He's also super nice, and I don't think I could recommend any other tutor. He was really awesome!
