About Valerie
I'm a first year Natural Sciences student at Cambridge, and I took Physics, Maths, Further Maths, and Chemistry for A levels, and received A*, A*, A, A respectively.
I am diagnosed with ASD and ADHD, so I have plenty of understanding about having a lack of motivation to do work, and having difficulty concentrating on work, and I find ways to help build motivation and keep things interesting.

I use an integrative approach to teaching, tailored to each individual student. I believe in understanding over regurgitation of information, so that there is a strong foundation for future knowledge. I understand that some students have a different way of understanding subjects, that may not be taught in schools, so I tend to teach little tips and tricks that teachers may have missed.
My lessons tend to last either 30 minutes to an hour, but I am very flexible and can teach for longer if required.
