About Jackson
Jackson started learning piano at the age of 3 with the MYC (Music for Young Children) program which led to the completion of level 1 with Conservatory Canada. After completing MYC and level 1, Jackson moved on to private lessons while completing level 9 in piano accompanied by theory 5. In the fall of 2016 Jackson enrolled for the music education program at the University of Western Ontario. In 2018, Jackson switched to the theory module to broaden his knowledge about music further before learning to teach it. While studying music theory in depth, he continued to take music education courses alongside.

Music theory is a subject that is usually feared in the world of music and often is hated. This statement used to be true, especially true for myself. After years of study and frustration, I have come to realize it is how theory is taught and not theory itself. I believe that if music theory concepts are dissected into logical, easy steps, the procedures as whole will always work out seamlessly.
