About Michelle
I completed my degree in Mathematics/Teaching Option with a minor in Pure Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in 2018.
I have been offering private tutoring sessions since 2010, and my favourite thing about tutoring is that I can pass down my passion for learning to my students!

I believe in personalized learning; the biggest benefit of private lessons is that I can understand how students learn best, and customize my teaching to gear towards that.
Thus, a typical class will look different for different students: I may use more graphs/illustrations for a visually-inclined student, whereas a verbal learner may get more discussion time. I often ask them to explain their solution, and ask questions to guide their thought processes.
