About Jojo
I have had over 3 years of private tutoring experience for English and Sciences for young adults, seeing not only a dramatic increase in marks but also in motivation and pride in themselves. My priority is to guide you to your goals, and get to know you better - not only in your goals, expectations and success, but also in your interests and passions.
Scoring an 85 in Section 2 (September 2024) and a 74 overall, I push for a holistic understanding and personal touch, with an emphasis on the appreciation of Section 2 expectations, adaptability and cohesion of written thought. With a bank of resources and prompts, you'll come through with more confidence to smash your essays!

Want to ace your essay writing but have no idea where to start? Consider a private tutor, who can guide you through the essentials - structure, marker expectations, evidence and writing voice - and mark your essays for you! My emphasis on doing plenty of pre-work to solidify your understanding of the test and expectations even before jumping into essay writing ensures that when you practice, you're practicing in the right way, every time. Once we approach the later stages, the focus moves towards ensuring your structure and tone gets your point across perfectly in a way that is still personable.
