About Dalia
Hi there! I am originally from Vancouver, Canada and have been passionate about learning from a young age. Through tutoring, I hope to inspire in others an interest in the subjects I teach, which are English, Chinese (Mandarin) and mathematics. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Sydney. I currently work as an urban planner at a civil engineering company, and spend my day poring over architectural plans and planning legislation.
I aim to identify practical learning strategies to achieve your goals, and will work on particular weaknesses in order to improve your capabilities overall.

As a tutor, I am encouraging and patient, basing lessons around your goals and tailoring strategies to suit your needs. I have seven years of tutoring experience and accept students of all ages. I am happy for lessons to run from half an hour to an hour and a half. I am based in St Leonards and am either happy to host at mine or travel to you. I am also happy to conduct lessons online over Zoom.
