My teaching method is revolves around repetition and reinforcement. I like to structure my sessions by having a starter which links the main lesson topic to another, previous area of maths they have covered, to consolidate students understanding of the previous topic so they are able to expand upon the topic in the coming lesson or make links between topic to strengthen general mathematical understanding. Then for the main part of the session, explaining the concept, show examples and give the students a chance to practice questions with increasing difficulty. Then finish session by consolidating knowledge, either through a game/video/other activity or an extension task to further their knowledge.
