About Louie
I am a 2025 Economics BSc graduate from The University of Nottingham. I have tutored students during my A levels, degree and since graduating until now. My first ever A level student went from B/C level to achieving an A in their final exam.
Since graduating I have been travelling across East and South East Asia where I expanded my Tutoring by creating my own website and finding students in Malaysia who I have continued to teach online since returning to the UK. Since returning to the UK I have taken on more students in my local area and been recommended by current students and parents to their friends and relatives where I teach both online and in-person lessons. I have also been hired by Laurel Park School to help their struggling year 11 Maths students. I am tasked with ensuring they all pass their GCSEs after a turbulent last few years at the school which is now on a strong upward trajectory. This also meant I had to pass a DBS check before being employed.

Many tutors just teach what they think is best for the student. I work with the student and parents to discover the best path forward allowing my students to reach their full potential. This differs by student, for example many prefer to re-cover recent lessons topics to really embed the content into their memory whereas others prefer to go through the syllabus in order of topics until they are confident in each and every area. I use interactive power points, create my own questions, use online resources and past papers to meet each student's individual needs and preferences so they stay engaged and maximise their learning.
