About Ryan
My high school and uni experience have built my mathematical and analytical skills useful across various subjects. Particularly, I understand VCE Chemistry really well, having done lots of exam practice and developed my own techniques for grasping concepts. Encouraging and supportive to build a mindset of confidence. I place emphasis on the exam and related skills throughout my tutoring lessons. I also engage with the content and make links between topics to support understanding (as opposed to rote memorization). Lessons are aimed at Year 11 or 12 students doing VCE 3/4, though lower year levels are welcome!

Having tuition with Ryan really helped me become more confident on my struggle areas. Not only did he explain the content well, he went through multiple exam style questions to ensure i got the hang of it. His tutoring extended beyond just subject-specific content as he offered general study tips and life tips as well.
Ryan was amazing in my final year of VCE, helping me go from completely lost to actually understanding chemistry. He explained things very clearly with worked out examples and always had a plan to keep me on track.
Being in the same cohort as Ryan, he was the go-to person for anyone who couldn’t understand a question or topic. Ryan helped explain content in new terms and recognise areas where my classmates and I made mistakes, always willing to lend a helping hand. From seeing his ability to deeply understand each concept and being able to share his knowledge in simplified words firsthand, I am certain Ryan can make an excellent teacher.
