About Harry
Hi! My name is Harry and I’m currently studying my undergraduate at the University of Manchester in Aerospace engineering. I’ve recently achieved A* in Physics and A in Maths. I’ve decided to start tutoring professionally after finding how fulfilling it is tutoring my sister where she recently achieved a grade 8 in her Mock, where previously was on a grade 5. I’ve always worked with children so this seems like a natural step forward, I also enjoy it so why not!

I’m enthusiastic, friendly and I want to teach others what I’ve learnt throughout school and University the way I want to be taught. This means the lessons will reflect that.
Initially, our lessons will start by going
over the curriculum and identifying weakness in your understanding. Then use examples and questions to bridge this gap.
In STEM subjects, it’s important to come to conclusions to problems yourself to prove you’ve fully understood the content, and this can only be down through self engagement. So, the teaching will be me guiding and encouraging you to use your understanding to come to right answer through making hard topics approachable . There will also be work todo in between sessions.
I’m a enthusiastic and friendly tutor and I strongly believe that being a liked tutor is really important as it gets the student to be more engaged. All part of my philosophy of self Engagement!
