About Jarrel
In Penrith High School, I have participated in the maths peer tutoring program where I teach a number of junior students various complex mathematical concepts. Under my guidance, most students’ exam results have improved by up to 10%. I’ve successfully completed the Advanced Mathematics course (89%) and Extension 1 Mathematics course (E3).

I start by asking students what they already know and base my teaching style off their existing knowledge. My lessons heavily involve walking through the concept at a pace which is comfortable with my students and breaking it down in a manner which is easy to understand. I explain the foundations of the topic through relevant textbooks and extensive study notes, allowing students to gain a solid grasp what the topic is and how it is used. From here, I improve their knowledge by applying this concept to practice questions. My teaching style is catered towards the NESA syllabus and level of academic proficiency of my students.
