About Gabriella
If you’re reflecting on your reasons for wanting to know the reason I am interesting in teaching criminal law, it could be because I have a unique combination of knowledge, passion, and experience in the field. I am someone with a deep understanding of criminal law’s theoretical and practical dimensions, and feel drawn to helping others navigate this challenging but rewarding area. My experience may come from formal education, real-world practice, or both, and now i am motivated to share that knowledge with students who are passionate about justice and legal reasoning. Not to mention I grew up in a law enforcement family.
Here’s really why I want to teach criminal law:
1. Passion for Justice: i have a strong passion for the legal system and an interest in how laws shape society. Criminal law, with its focus on righting wrongs and defending the rule of law, may feel particularly important to you, and teaching allows you to instill that same sense of purpose in your students.
2. Desire to Shape Future Lawyers: I want to help shape the next generation of lawyers and legal professionals, equipping them with the tools, ethics, and skills to advocate effectively and ethically in the criminal justice system.
3. Expertise and Experience: I have a wealth of knowledge or experience in criminal law that I want to share. Whether you’re an academic who enjoys breaking down complex legal principles or a practitioner with real-world insight, teaching is a way to pass on those skills to others. I have those qualities.
4. Commitment to Critical Thinking: Criminal law requires students to think critically, analyze case law, and apply legal principles to real-world scenarios. You may enjoy the intellectual challenge of helping students develop these critical thinking and problem-solving skills such as I do.
5. Interest in Real-World Impact: Criminal law has a direct impact on society and individuals’ lives. By teaching this subject, I can engage students in discussions about important social issues, criminal justice reform, and the role of law in protecting both public safety and individual rights.
All of the above align with my motivations, they form a strong foundation for why I am committed to teaching criminal law, helping students not only understand the law but also appreciate its broader implications in society.

If you’re considering private tutoring for criminal law, here’s why a personal approach can make a world of difference:
1. Tailored Learning Experience: Unlike large classes, private tutoring focuses entirely on your unique learning style. Whether you learn best through discussion, case studies, or practical examples, a personal tutor will adapt to meet your needs. This ensures you’re not wasting time on what you already know and can instead target areas where you need more support.
2. Deeper Understanding: Criminal law is intricate, filled with principles, case law, and statutory interpretation. One-on-one tutoring allows for an in-depth exploration of these topics at your own pace. A tutor can help break down complex legal concepts, ensuring you fully grasp the nuances that are often rushed in a classroom setting.
3. Immediate Feedback: Private tutoring provides real-time feedback, something you don’t get in large groups. Whether it’s discussing practice exam answers or debating a point of law, instant feedback is invaluable for refining your legal reasoning and improving exam techniques.
4. Flexibility and Focus: With a personal tutor, you have the flexibility to focus on specific topics or areas that challenge you. Whether it’s defenses, criminal procedure, or international criminal law, tutoring sessions are designed around your academic goals.
5. Building Confidence: Criminal law requires strong analytical skills and confidence in your arguments. A tutor can help you build this confidence, encouraging critical thinking, and guiding you through mock exams or practical exercises that simulate real-world scenarios.
In short, private tutoring in criminal law offers a personalized, adaptable, and effective way to achieve academic excellence and a deeper understanding of the law.
