About Vikrantsing
Dedicated and results-oriented Mathematics and physics (A level) Tutor with a passion for fostering a deep understanding of mathematical and physics concepts. I have a few months of of experience tutoring A level Mathematics and physics (Apr 2023 - Sept 2023) and I believe I have the ability to make complex topics accessible and enjoyable for students. My commitment to personalized learning ensures that each student receives tailored instruction to address their unique strengths and challenges. My goal is to enhance your problem solving skills as far as mathematics and physics are concerned.
Qualifications:
- A level mathematics with A* and ranked at National level in Mauritius.
- Completed first year of BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering which is equivalent to an Engineering foundation year at the University of Mauritius.
- Participated in various mathematics competition such as Australian Maths Competition.
- Currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering with an integrated masters degree at the University of Southampton.
I believe that maths is like going to the gym for your brain as it sharpens your mind.

My approach would be firstly to tailor my lessons based on your needs and learning style. Secondly, we will often discuss and relate the topic to real world application in order to enhance understanding. Sufficient reduced notes prepared by myself will be provided and problems will be tackled in parallel to improve problem solving skills, not to mention that there will be progressive difficulty, that is we will start with easier problems and gradually move to more challenging ones. Additionally, there will be prepared assessments on a regular time frame to test your understanding. A lesson will take 60 to 90 minutes and can be lengthen based on your needs.
I have tutored A level students for 5 months (Apr 2023 - Sept 2023) and I have been exposed to mathematics and physics on a daily basis for the past 6 years. I have myself scored an A* for my A levels and I was ranked at National Level in my country (Mauritius). I am currently a student at the University of Southampton studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering, hence making me fit for the job.
My target audience would hence be A level students as well as any lower level needing mathematics, physics or further maths tutoring.
