About Raquel
Hi, I’m Raquel, a 19-year-old sophomore at the UofU! - 5 years of childcare experience & 2 years as an educator - Last summer, I had the amazing opportunity to run a STEM program in Marin County, CA, for children ages 3.5 to 13, which fueled my passion for hands-on learning. I love working with learners and helping them discover new concepts through fun and interactive activities. Outside of education, I enjoy spending time in nature, especially taking drives through the canyons and making snowmen at the mountains. I’m organized, detail-oriented, and love to create engaging learning environments that adapt to the needs of each child.

We will start the lesson with an overview, then move onto each concept, circle back to challenging concepts, then close with an overview and key takeaways (with guided notes throughout the lesson).
