About Denzil
I am an excited 3rd year student of Pure Mathematics, Statistics, and Neuroscience (Mathematics Specialist, Neuroscience Major, Statistics Minor) at the University of Toronto! Since high school, I have been involved in Neuroscience competitions, research and peer tutoring as well as Maths and Physics. Throughout University, I've participated in countless discussions on complex mathematical ideas, finding ways to make sense of the incomprehensible, and solve problems that seemed beyond reach.

For me, an ideal math class would involve a review/introduction to the material rigorously, an explanation of the various intuitions underlying the concept, and a highlight of relevant examples. The student would dictate the pace at which the material is taught, and is free to ask questions regarding the material at any time. I prefer an informal relationship with students, engaging frequently and asking questions at various points in the discussion. Additionally, I would direct students to resources for further learning in the subject if they should wish, and provide problems (if possible) to help reinforce concepts.
