About Katy
I am a passionate learner and student, with interests in art outside of academics. I love tutoring as I feel it allows me to help those who maybe don't have the most supportive teaching system in place. I also have a talent for teaching: I am very patient and accommodating, and willing to work for each student's personal needs. I have continually done well in English for years, and I would love to share my abilities with as many people as possible.

I offer 1-1 online lessons entirely tailored to you and your needs - I have previously offered sessions focused on poetry and prose analyses, essay writing guidance, and even English pronunciation for a non-native speaker. I also help with exam revision scheduling and resources.
I offer sessions on an hourly basis, but can do the occasional two-hour session. I have yet to teach for longer in one go, but I am happy to do so if needed.
I have been privately tutoring for around a year, but I have previous experience tutoring young family friends and helping KS2 children with phonics. I have a DBS certificate and have had multiple other positions around younger children.
I specialise in GCSE level sessions; but I can also tutor A-Level, KS2-KS3, and English as a second language. I can also offer sessions for those just looking to improve their general abilities in areas such as sentence structure, essay writing, or text analysis.
