About Lauren
I am currently a university student studying IR and Politics, so I really have a passion for connecting with people from all over the world. I have lived abroad and in very international settings. Outside of school and work, some of my favorite hobbies are reading and swimming. I was a competitive swimmer for 11 years!

I encourage my students to put themselves out of their comfort zone, because our classes are always a safe space.
I typically use project based learning to encourage the students not only to expand their English knowledge, but to also anticipate a "physical" end product. I have adapted my curriculum over the course of two years to really solidify an encouraging and entertaining learning environment for students.
My background in learning multiple languages helps me connect with my students that may not have English as their first language and helps me relate to not only linguistic struggles but also cultural struggles the students may face when learning English.
My classes are typically for younger learners but I have worked with all ages and really strive for a certain level of conversational knowledge for students learning English as a second language, and for .
