About Aiddan
Hi, I'm Aiddan! I am a current university student pursuing my Bachelor of Science online, and I bring a unique, highly practical perspective to tutoring.
Alongside my studies, I work full-time as a Head Chef. Running a commercial kitchen is all about taking complex, multi-step operations and breaking them down into modular, highly organized systems. That exact mindset is how I approach teaching STEM. Whether we are mapping out a multi-step organic chemistry synthesis or breaking down a massive statistical dataset, I specialize in turning overwhelming problems into clear, manageable steps.

My Teaching Method and Techniques

For Trigonometry, I focus on building a rock-solid spatial understanding of the unit circle, functions, and identities so you have the foundation needed for Calculus and Physics.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Every student is different, but a standard 60-minute session generally follows this structure:
The Check-In (5-10 mins): We review your current syllabus, clarify where you are getting stuck in your homework, and quickly recap the previous session's core concepts.
Concept Breakdown (15-20 mins): I introduce new material using visual aids and clear analogies. I break down the theory first before we even look at a complex equation.
Guided Practice (20-25 mins): The "I do, we do, you do" method. I walk through a problem, we tackle one together, and then you take the lead. I step in only to guide your logic and correct missteps in real-time.
Action Plan (5-10 mins): We summarize the key takeaways and I provide specific focus areas or practice problems to tackle before we meet again.
