About Cara
A globally-minded individual with a diverse background, I have grown up immersed in various cultures and communities, giving me a deep appreciation for diversity of thought, interpretation and culture. I am currently a student completing my BA in UCL with a passion for learning Chinese. I grew up in Singapore which predominantly speaks Mandarin as well as English. With lots of experience in teaching and leadership, I am sure to give you top quality lessons.

I have the most experience with GCSE and IB Mandarin but am willing to teach other curriculums or those learning as a hobby. I have experience teaching children as I volunteered in after-school lessons throughout high school. My lessons follow your curriculum/goals very closely, but the most essential part of my sessions is to honour every part of the language: reading, writing, speaking, listening, tones, and character composition. My aim is for you to get the most out of our sessions, and to give the resources you need to continue improving outside of class.
