About Saoirse
I am a first-year university student studying Geography at Durham with a strong passion for English, particularly Literature, which I pursued at A-Level. My knowledge of GCSE English is comprehensive, built not only through my own experience as a student but also through my role as an English Language tutor. I enjoy tutoring because I understand how important it is to grasp material beyond the classroom for true success. I tailor each session to meet my students’ individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident in their English skills. While I am particularly familiar with the AQA English curriculum, I am happy to assist students working with other exam boards—please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Through my experience tutoring GCSE students and supporting younger years with critical reading development, I use tailored methods to achieve effective results. My lessons are designed for Year 7/8 students (ages 12–14) and GCSE students (Year 10+), lasting 45–60 minutes.
