About Ganpat
Hi, I'm Ganpat — I've just finished my A-levels in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, and I truly love helping GCSE students spark their love and confidence in Maths and Biology. Having gone through these exams myself, I know exactly what examiners look for and where students commonly lose marks, my past self included! My approach is simple: break topics into clear, manageable steps, focus on exam technique, and make sure you actually understand the "why" behind concepts, not just memorise formulae because I believe that to truly love a subject there can be no question left unanswered. Outside of academics I'm a self-taught pianist with a Grade 8 distinction, which taught me patience and how to break down hard skills into learnable chunks. I'm friendly, patient, and genuinely want your sessions to feel manageable and enjoyable, not stressful.

GCSEs are hard and I know that. Sometimes it may be difficult to know what to do and how to do it but it is extremely possible to achieve those 8s and 9s no matter what level you are at the moment. With 2 years of GCSE tutoring experience, my goal as your tutor is to make those difficult concepts simple to understand, zooming in and taking time with each and every one of your doubts, and help you to apply them to exam questions in a calm and fun manner, helping you to achieve the grades you want and helping you to love your subject.
Typical lessons last 1-1.5 hours, but this can be changed suited to your needs.
At GCSE level I achieved a 9 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English Language. 8 in Geography, German and Music.
