In this way, the student can visualise a sense of success and achieve, and see the process before them in small and manageable steps.

During my high school years, I was often found in the library offering help or assistance to whoever needs it. But from the start of this year, I have expanded myself to the realm of tutoring to see what I can do to further assist people with their academics. My lessons go for an hour, with the first lesson aimed at finding the strengths of the student given the subject at hand, with some examples including what aspects of the subject they're good at, study techniques etc. This lesson also identifies any weaknesses that the student may wish to address. As the lessons continue, I aim to break down the topic into smaller more manageable steps, so that the student can understand it better. I teach Maths, English and Science from y1-12, and Physics and Chemistry from y10-12.
