About Ilana
When I started tutoring I realised that confidence is one of the issues among many students. Therefore, every session I make sure that you feel supported and encouraged throughout every session. Each session I make sure to assess your understanding so that all your knowledge gaps are filled and then strengthened. To make sure you feel even more confident for any upcoming exams you will be practising past papers and more.

If I find a student is struggling to understand I change the method of teaching to fit their needs. For example, I teach it in a more visual way so that they understand why they are learning it and how it may be used in their everyday life.
My typical length of lessons is 1 hour but can be extended to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The lessons are for students aged between 9-16 years old, altered to whether they are studying towards their SATS or GCSE level maths.
