I structure my sessions around clear objectives, measurable outcomes, and each student’s specific goals. Students move from guided practice to independent application, building competence and confidence. I prioritise depth of understanding over surface memorisation, ensuring students grasp the reasoning behind concepts.
To help students achieve their goals, I provide precise, actionable feedback linked directly to mark schemes. Progress is measured through regular low-stakes testing, timed exam practice, and comparison against assessment criteria. I track improvements not only in grades but in clarity of argument, analytical depth, and independent thinking.
