About Jesse
I am a Psychology student at Utrecht University. I have obtained my VWO diploma with a 7.4 in Economics and Mathematics A. For about three years I have been teaching Mathematics A weekly to an acquaintance. Thanks to my lessons, this knowledge has already achieved an 8.3 for her test recently and she has seen her math grades increase these past years. Every now and then I have tutored Economics to the same acquaintance.

My way of teaching is mainly based on calmly explaining the theory, often with examples. Then, together with the student, I will test whether the student understands and can apply the theory. If the student finds the theory difficult or has difficulty with it, we will pay extra attention to it. My expertise is that I can explain calmly, so that the student can also take it calmly. By using the principle 'practice makes perfect' and mnemonics, I ensure that the student will master the theory.
