About Sam
In total I have had 50-60 hours of experience in tutoring with around 20 pupils across those hours , including preparation of lessons, the teaching of them and one to one tutoring on exam and revision techniques, in various voluntary positions at primary, pre-GCSE and GCSE levels.
As a result a my pupils have achieved at least an increase of their maths level by one stage (pre-GCSE) or one grade (GCSE) with my most successful changing form a D grade to a B.

I am a second year mathematics and statistics student at the University of Portsmouth interested in teaching opportunities that can enrich the education of others whilst utilising and developing my own skills.
I am flexible in terms of how my lessons would be structured but a typical lessons would involve efficient coverage of the theory of the topic, followed by pre-worked examples to show the theory in action, finally there would be multiple questions testing knowledge.
