About Roza
Tutored Year 8 student in English Literature for a year, aiming to improve her creative writing by concentrating on grammar and using similes.
We set up weekly reading, "picking apart" (using exercises to practice language analysis) the books she liked to show the meaning behind it. She also completed creative writing exercises, some written and some verbal (as she was an auditory learner) to encourage enthusiasm in the subject and help with similes.
Her grades gradually built over the year, moving her up a level.

I can give lessons to students Years 7-11 (including GCSE preparation) having completed GCSE and A Level English Literature, and currently studying an English Literature and Creative Writing Degree.
I like to structure lessons around the key areas students wish to work on; grammar and punctuation, essay writing, essay structuring, understanding the text or otherwise.
Strong believer in learning through doing, and accommodating visual or auditory learners as much as possible.
I tend to plan ahead week by week so that all bases are covered and can be added to over time.
