My teaching methodology is that I will be teaching the basics of the language first, eg. pinyin, tones and simple characters; read texts to the students and teach them the meanings of certain phrases; and complete some Chinese handwriting exercises. Typical length of a lesson can be around 40-60 minutes, depending on student needs. I've completed Year 12 VCE Chinese Second Language and am currently planning to major in Chinese translation in my Arts degree. My lessons can be for Year 5 students and above.
