About Evanda
I am a young, dedicated, and extremely passionate educator. I was established as a Mathematics tutor from 2016-2017 at my high school, where I assisted my low-achieving peers with their challenges in Mathematics. I have, also, received a certificate in a Classroom Virtual Experience Program (through Forage - International Courses Program) in 2022. Furthermore, I am finalising my studies as an Intermediate Phase educator at the University of Pretoria at the end of this year (2023). Here I received above-average results, and completed modules in Intermediate Mathematics, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, geometry and methodologies in Mathematics Education.
I have an extreme appreciation for teaching and learning, and I consider myself a lifelong learner. I am always willing to go the extra mile to ensure an exciting and successful learning experience. I work according to my learners' needs and ensure that each of my students are provided with the best education tailored to their learning styles and mannerisms.

I have a "try your best" approach to teaching and learning. I focus on the Inquiry-Based Approach; which entails us (as teacher and learner) solving problems together, by means of trial and error, and making you THINK! I soulfully believe that Mathematics learning stems from understanding the foundational parts of the subject and the "why" behind it.
My learners can expect fun and interactive lessons, and the use of interesting teaching tools. Maths is an immense passion of mine, and I would like to share this appreciation with young minds and eradicate the negative stigma surrounding the subject.
I am fluent in both Afrikaans and English, and aim to teach learners from Grade 4 to 9 (Intermediate and Senior Phase).
